Scrabble will automatically keep track of your score. Its comprehensive dictionary will have you feeling carefree, as you can be certain that no misspelled word will be put into play by the computer.

The basic game is the same. You use the best words you can create to earn the most points trackable by the computer. The system does feel repetitive if you play this game too often and get accustomed to the PC’s playstyle.

Scrabble by Skunkstudio offers only a trial edition and will freeze at the end of its length unless you purchase it. Another aspect that takes away from potential experiences is that there are options for changing the level of difficulty.

There is no multiplayer as well, whether online or in person. You can only challenge the computer.

Words with Friends 2 is not Scrabble, but it is much like this iconic game, emphasising word building. It is a free programme that is slightly easier to play than the traditional game. It makes other improvements to the basic edition. You can play with people from around the world and make friends as you figure out which words to spell.

Fundox brings the scrabble experience to Windows 10 for free. You can play with up to 4 players in the multiplayer mode. The specialty it offers is the ability to analyse your playstyle. It tracks your words on a sheet and other elements of play so you can see the statistics.

Low value

Overall, this edition of Scrabble is a poor competitor in the field. Although it can work on Windows 10 computers, there is little else that it offers. The other options are free without any limit on the time of use, unlike this edition of Scrabble. Finally, the app doesn’t let you play with other people, restricting you to the poorly-designed AI. Overall, it is not worth downloading or purchasing. You’re better off playing Words With Friends.
