The main function of the app is to let gears find the best deals they can get their hands on. It provides a price comparison engine that helps gamers keep up-to-date with price drops across stores such as Amazon.com, GameStop, GOG, Green Man Gaming, Steam, and Origin. The usual wish lists and game notifications apply, however, a useful feature of Razer Cortex is that it will suggest games users might enjoy based on their previous gaming activity.
Razer Cortex also has some great tools including a screen capture gallery and a save file backup function. There’s is also a ‘game booster’ that claims to improve a PC’s performance during and after in game alterations.
The social side of Razer Cortex is well supported with good functionality that allows gamers to share in-game moments on Facebook and YouTube.
Overall, a handy little app that is best suited to gamers who are looking to locate the best deals on new and wanted titles and who want to make a few tweaks here and there.
