Is PDFill free?

Usually, people are unable to edit PDFs; for people to edit PDF files, they need a PDF editing software like PDFill. The download options include the PDF Editor Pro, Free PDF Editor, Free PDF Writer, Free PDF Tools, and Free Image Writer. Easily access the ability to make changes on any PDF image by downloading PDFill. PDFill only functions within Microsoft Windows operating systems.

What is PDFill?

Within a convenient window, PDF Tools gives users access to an array of editing options: ‘Merge PDF Files’. Consider having two documents that need to be sent in one file; the merge feature allows the PDFill community to combine two saved files together.

Instead of having to print two files, and then scan paper documents into a consolidated folder, consumers can merge files together with a few clicks. Choose ‘1. Merge PDF Files’ and navigate to ‘Add a PDF File’. Within that option, select the preferred files to merge, and click ‘Open’.

The files will appear in the pop-up window and can be reordered by clicking on ‘Move Up’ or ‘Move Down’. If there is an accidental file included, then navigate to the ‘Remove’ button. When the PDF pages are appropriately arranged, then choose ‘Save As…’ and name the document to create a new file.

Upon opening the PDF document, users can view the organised files. If people want to do the opposite and split a document into different files, then they can choose ‘2. Split or Reorder Pages’ on the PDF Tools window. Find the preferred file to split and click ‘Open’.

A pop-up window will arise with the text, ‘Split Pages From’, allowing the PDFill community to decide which pages to isolate and split from the document. Upon clicking ‘Save As…’, consumers will have the opportunity to name and save the separated document; the original file will be unaltered. Download the PDF software to discover free features.

Within the PDFill PDF Editor, consumers can edit new documents by clicking on the first icon within the bottom menu bar to create PDF forms. Locate a preferred file to open within the form filler. Within the tool bar on the bottom, locate the second icon, ‘Insert Single Line Text’, to create a cursor, and write text within the PDF.

Erase text by clicking on the ‘Insert Whiteout’ icon within the bottom tool bar. Drag the PDF eraser on top of the desired area to delete the highlighted content. With the text tool, the PDFill community can type on top of the new form field.

An attractive tool within the application is the signature feature, which allows people to create a space within the PDF filler and insert a signature. To highlight text, locate the highlight icon within the bottom tool bar. A window will open to allow people to choose a color for the text.

Alternative PDF editor options

Adobe Acrobat, PDFelement, and Nitro are similar to PDFill PDF Editor. While PDFill provides freeware options, the other options require purchases, and offer free trial periods. The price points of Adobe, PDFelement, and Nitro may be worth the money considering the applications’ attractive initial view compared to PDFill’s user interface. Both PDFelement and Nitro have platforms that resemble Microsoft Word UI.

While all of the applications provide consumers with a PDF reader and the ability to edit files, Nitro can process requests the quickest. Considering PDFill offers free download options, PDFelement is the most inexpensive alternative to Nitro and Adobe Acrobat.

While Nitro is the fastest, and PDFill and PDFelement are the least expensive, Acrobat is the most user friendly and capable application of them all; which is understandable considering Adobe created the PDF file.
